Happy Birthday Andrew!

Short post today because I have a very busy weekend. By the time this posts, my oldest son will be a teenager. We are spending Saturday late afternoon - early evening in the oppressive heat to watch his first Little League All-Star game. He will be the starting center fielder, batting second.

Then my little autograph hound buddy wants to spend his birthday on Sunday at our local minor league ballpark to watch the games and get some autographs. So far we have a really great relationship and hopefully can maintain that through his teen years and beyond!

*Update*
His team won their game on Saturday 7-5. He went 1-2 with a stolen base. Props to professional videographers because baseball action is tough to follow with a camera. My camera was all over the place for his hit but here's his stolen base.

Straight up steal, no passed ball. No leading, has to wait for the ball to cross the plate to leave the base.

Dude is fast, but shortstop missed the tag.

So funny enough, the two videos I had problems with loaded fine. Both halves of boxes 1 and 3 are now loaded and you can watch them as a playlist here:

The video that recorded fine, with no interruptions, is of course too long for Youtube's requirements. And the only time I've ever edited a video was on Youtube. The video took most of yesterday and into the night to upload and then tells me it was rejected for length. No other warning and I didn't think about checking it. Ugh. So I'm trying to reload it after being verified and getting an increase in my video length limit.

On a side note, for future reference, if anyone can walk me through taking a video and chopping it in half so I can load two halves, I would greatly appreciate it. As far as I know, I don't have any video editing software unless it came with my computer.

2012 Topps Archives Case Break Videos - Boxes 1-3

These have been uploading ALL DAY. Very frustrating. Here are the videos for the first 3 boxes.

I will let my computer keep uploading through the night and post links when they're done. Hopefully they'll finish over night. Tomorrow I will post a review/statistical analysis of the case. I'll let you know how many complete base sets I was able to complete. Did the case yield a complete set with SPs? Was I able to complete any/all of the insert sets? Answers to these questions and more in tomorrow's post, so come back then!
