Larry Biittner

Really cramming a bunch of these in at the end of the year, aren't I? This Larry Biittner card comes with a little help from a member over on Sportscollectors.net who routinely works with the Bob Feller Museum on events they host.

In addition to the heroics noted below on the back of my card, Biittner gave fans something to cheer about in the Cubs 1978 home opener. The Cubs started 3-3 in a pair of road series before coming back to Wrigley against Pittsburgh. After the Cubs tied the game at 4 in the bottom of the 8th inning, Biittner led off the bottom of the 9th with a walkoff home run.

This card brings my total up to 32 signed in 2012.
