In Series One, the Texas Rangers had thirteen cards. Of those, nine made the cut for the set.
Yu Darvish, Elvis Andrus, Alex Rios
Neftali Feliz, Jurickson Profar, Martin Perez
Leonys Martin
Adrian Beltre, Mitch Moreland
In Opening Day, the Rangers had an 11-card team set. Carryovers from Series One included Darvish, Andrus, Rios, Profar, Beltre and Perez. That leaves five cards that were new with Opening Day and four of them showed up in the team set.
Prince Fielder, Michael Choice
Shin-Soo Choo, Derek Holland
That makes thirteen out of the sixteen player cards from the team set, plus the stadium card. Brand new are:
Matt Harrison, Alex Ogando, Geovany Soto

Now, let's go back and see what didn't make the cut. Out of Series One, we have four cards.
Jim Adduci, Joakim Soria and Jason Frasor are all still with the Rangers organization.
David Murphy signed with the Cleveland Indians last November as a free agent.
Out of Opening Day, we had one left out.
Nelson Cruz signed as a free agent with the Baltimore Orioles in February.
And last but not least, we have the mascot out of Opening Day:
Rangers Captain |
